At The WV Foundation, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive support services for veterans and their families. Our mission is to partner with homeless veterans, helping them reintegrate into society by offering stable housing, essential wraparound services, and a nurturing community. We focus on stable housing, mental health services, addiction recovery, job training, and creating a supportive community.
Mental health care should transcend geographical and cultural boundaries, ensuring that every veteran, irrespective of background, has access to quality mental health support.
Our housing program provides safe, affordable, and supportive living environments for homeless veterans and their families.
We offer comprehensive addiction recovery programs that include detoxification, counseling, and long-term support.
Our job & employment services provide veterans with the skills, resources, & opportunities they need to secure & maintain meaningful employment.
The WV Foundation is a beacon of hope for veterans and their families, serving as a resource for any issue they may encounter. Everything we do is grounded in familial bonds, authenticity, and the desire to make a positive impact. The WVF centers veterans by following a consistent, results-proven method:
1. We provide a homeless veteran with stable, communal housing.
2. We address any mental health, physical health, or essential needs.
3. We help reintegrate the veteran into the workforce or other meaningful work so that they are able to be a part of their community in an impactful, mutually-beneficial way.
The WV Foundation continually centers veterans and their families. We invite veterans to the table throughout the advocacy process, because their voices are the most important voices to amplify in conversations that would determine the course of their lives.
